The Goi Foundation Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO) Limited was established in 2023 to empower its members by providing effective and efficient savings and credit services.
Our Mission
Our core mission is to empower farmers, both men and women, to create jobs and wealth in the rural enterprises we build. We achieve this by establishing a holistic, integrated financial and productive hub to enhance food security and market access for smallholder farmers, thereby reducing their reliance on imported food. Our mission is to build an integrated ecosystem where farmers' financial and social power is strengthened by a local processing plant, built on a unique model of shared ownership. This unique model of shared ownership and investment in the rural agricultural value chain, utilising a co-fund, co-finance, and co-production approach, ensures that the community has a vested interest and long-term stake in the business's success and our collective destiny. This mission is driven by a strong belief that by focusing on sustainable, ethical, and locally driven business practices, we will not only be a successful business but a truly profitable business.
